A nationwide touring exhibition of work produced over the previous five years, The British Art Show 5 celebrated the diversity, wit and exuberance of contemporary British art. Ikon presented this exhibition in collaboration with Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery and B16. The exhibition included work by  Glenn Brown, Wolfgang Tillmans, Art and Language,  Lea Andrews, Martin Boyce, Liam Gillick, Lucy Gunning, Graham Gussin,  David Hockney, Dean Hughs, Anna Hunt, Runa Islam, Emma Kay, Hilary Lioyd, David Musgrave, Mike Nelson, Paul Noble, Kathy Prendergast, John Stezaker and Padraig Timoney.

This was a National Touring Exhibition organised by The Hayward Gallery on behalf of The Arts Council England and sponsored nationally by Habitat.
