We are delighted to welcome you back to Ikon to visit our exhibitions, shop and café. Ikon has new guidelines to ensure a safe experience for everyone, including one way systems, hand sanitiser stations and reduced capacity. Please familiarise yourself with the full list of guidelines and plan your visit so you know what to expect when you arrive. We are looking forward to seeing you.

Tuesday – Sunday, 11am-4pm
Admission to the gallery is still free but visitors must book online in advance.
We have reduced capacity in the galleries and have set up 30-minute arrival slots throughout each day to allow for social distancing. Please book a ticket for each member of your party and include their contact details.
For anyone unable to book online please call Ikon on 0121 248 0708 and we will organise your tickets.
Ikon is a registered charity and your support is vital, please consider making a donation.
If you have a high temperature, persistent cough or change in taste or smell, please stay at home and visit another time. Follow NHS guidelines.

Please wear a face covering. Face coverings are mandatory for all visitors except those with health and breathing issues, and children under the age of 11, in line with government guidelines.
Arrive promptly for your allocated time slot and bring your booking details so that a member of our Front of House team can check you in. There is no need to print your ticket, it can be displayed on your phone or you can give your contact details.
If you are unable to make your allocated time slot please call Ikon on 0121 248 0708 to cancel or rearrange your booking, so that we can release your slot to another visitor. If we can’t answer the phone, please do leave a message and your number and we’ll give you a call back
Please observe social distancing when in the gallery and follow designated one way routes around Ikon.
You are welcome to stay as long as you like, or until the gallery closes. Above all, enjoy your visit.
Hand sanitisers are available throughout the building for your use.
We’re using QR codes for digital interpretation to enhance your visit. Large print guides are available on request.

Ikon Shop is open, with limited numbers allowed in, if you see something you would like to purchase, please ask a member of staff for assistance.
Acrylic screens have been installed at Ikon’s Shop and Reception desks
We currently only accept card or contactless payments in Ikon Shop to minimise contact. As well as Tap to Donate, we are still accepting cash in our donations box.
Ikon’s online shop is open for business and a click and collect service is available.
