Inside Offsite

Teachers and pupils at George Dixon International School, Birmingham worked with artists Simon Blackmore and Steve Symonds to develop an interactive electronic exhibition. Five workshops took place in March 2006 during which the group created an installation that was able to detect movement and convert it through a series of motors and sensors which plucked the strings of a guitar. The project culminated in an official opening where the pupils were invited to talk about their involvement in the project.
