THE GALLERIES



Ikon Gallery has two floors available for hire, either separately or combined, offering an ideal environment for special events. Both are bright and spacious, with high ceilings and stunning architecture while current exhibitions of contemporary art provide a unique backdrop. The capacity for each gallery floor is 250 standing and around 100 for seated events.

OTHER SPACES AT IKON
EVENTS ROOM
Ikon’s Events Room suits smaller, more intimate, events. An adaptable space, it is ideal for workshops, training, seminars, meetings and presentations. The Events Room accommodates up to 60 standing and 40 seated (theatre style).


MEETING ROOM
The Meeting Room is a modern boardroom space with with a large LCD screen and an abundance of natural light. It is perfect for smaller meetings, interviews and training sessions. Capacity is 12.

Catering
Yorks café at Ikon has a unique offering for all styles of events from exclusive dinners
and drinks receptions in the galleries to street-food style service. Their award-winning menus include seasonal sharing boards, hot and cold canapés, and excellent vegetarian and vegan options.
Artisan sandwich platters, teas and coffees, and homemade cakes can be served for your guests directly to Ikon’s
Meeting Room or Events Room.
