Family Saturday

With Polly Brant

Inspired by Dean Kelland’s exhibition Imposter Syndrome, and the artist’s Dialogue Wall Installation, join artist-educator Polly Brant to transform Ikon’s Events Room into a collaborative makeshift art studio.

Sketch up an idea, have creative conversations and draw something that inspires you to share with other families. Add your drawings and collages to the studio wall, finding connections with other people and artworks.

Please consider making a donation for this free activity.

Ikon’s Learning Programme is supported by Cass Art.

About the artist:

Polly Brant is an artist-educator from the West Midlands. Led by curiosity and reforming, Brant is interested in what art education is, where it can happen and its meaning. Much of the time what she makes is created from collections of thoughts, notes and hopeful ideas informed by research to both champion and question what art/art education can be.
