Family Saturday takes place on the first Saturday of every month.

Join artist Nastaran Tavakoli for a hands-on printmaking workshop inspired by Halima Cassel’s work in Break the Mould. Inspired by Virtues of Unity, families will print colourful symmetrical designs

Open to all ages. Just drop in and enjoy.

Nastaran Tavakoli is an Iranian artist-educator leading art workshops and classes for all ages. For Nastaran Tavakoli, art is not just about creating objects, it’s about connecting with people, sharing stories, and inspiring the next generation. Nastaran Tavakoli was recently on placement with the Ikon Education Team, as part of her MA Arts Education Practice degree.

Ikon presents Break the Mould, the final exhibition in a trilogy exploring craft, art school pedagogies and contemporary art practice. This show focuses on ceramics, positioning clay as a site of experimentation.
