Transcontinental was a group exhibition spanning the diverse cultures of Brazil, Argentina and Chile. The artists in Transcontinental shared a similar political, historical and geographical inheritance. Potatoes, money, feathers and bones were among the materials used by these artists. The works in this exhibition challenged our preconceived ideas about Latin America along with our ways of seeing and understanding art.
Curated by Guy Brett. Jointly hosted with Cornerhouse, Manchester.
