Jaz Morrison and Ikon Youth Programme

Artist and writer Jaz Morrison showcases MOTHERSHIP with Ikon Youth Programme (IYP), cellist and composer Millicent James and the Word Life Corral at The New Art Gallery Walsall. Organised in response to Keith Piper’s exhibition Jet Black Futures at NAGW (14 January – 24 April 2022) and reflecting Piper’s methods of story-telling and foretelling, Morrison considers themes of surveillance, technology and Afrofuturism through performance.
