Spring Printmaking Day at Ikon

Celebrate the arrival of spring and the cherry blossom with a creative day of printmaking and outdoor art at Ikon.

We’re delighted to be joined by Stirchley Print Works, who will lead a series of hands on printmaking activities throughout the day. With two expert facilitators from the studio, visitors of all ages can experiment with screen-printing, photopolymer printing and Lego printing, all inspired by a cherry blossom and springtime theme.

Alongside these workshops, the Ikon team will host a range of mini creative activities around the café terrace. Try your hand at outdoor sketching using easels and clipboards, colouring and illustration activities, calligraphy and origami.

To mark the occasion, we are also creating a temporary outdoor display of artworks along the terrace, celebrating the creativity of everyone who takes part.
