Join Ikon Youth Programme at free house for an exhibition made in collaboration with artist-curator Dinosaur Kilby and artist Emily Scarrott. Drawing on conversations around social justice, solidarity and collective action, the work brings together what IYP members care about and their responses to the world around them.

Dinosaur Kilby is an Artist-Curator based in Birmingham, UK. He currently works at Wolverhampton Art Gallery as a Creative Producer.

Between 2021-2023, he completed an Artist-Curator Traineeship at Eastside Projects. He set up and ran Prayer Room, a collaboration, an artwork, a project space, with Leah Hickey and Ishmail De Niro between 2023-2025. Before this he ran Cheap Cheap, between 2019-2023. Dinosaur is currently working on free house, a collaboratively run studio complex, in Digbeth, Birmingham.

Emily Scarrott is a visual artist, writer and educator preoccupied by speculative fiction, with a fondness for eggs, orcs and extraterrestrials.
Since 2024, handmade chainmail has adopted sculptural, performative and text-based forms within Emily’s practice. She is intrigued by the potential to subvert its historical reference to tell folkloric, fantasy and sci-fi stories that emanate anti-fascist auras.
